Hybrid and EV Battery Coverage
Hybrids and the all-electric Prologue carry extended protection on the components gas-only Hondas don’t have.
Civic Hybrid & CR-V Hybrid: hybrid system components, including the high-voltage battery, are typically covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles — well beyond the standard 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper term. Some states extend this further.
Honda Prologue (EV): federal law requires EV battery components to carry a minimum 8-year/100,000-mile warranty, and Honda’s coverage for the Prologue follows that standard. Exact terms are detailed in your Prologue’s specific warranty documentation.
