To save costs, Honda offers a 2-liter, 4-cylinder powertrain on the LX and Sport sedan and hatchback models. This engine combines fuel efficiency with sufficient power, delivering 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque while achieving 41 mpg highway and 32 mpg city, for a combined 36 mpg. It also includes an idle stop feature to save fuel at red lights.

The Honda Sport trim level gets 31/39/34 mpg. Whether you choose the conventional or hybrid engine, this car’s efficiency is significant for former gas guzzler users.
